While following reactions to Theresa May’s crushing defeat in parliament for her deal I came across the following tweet by Donald Tusk the EU Council President;

If a deal is impossible, and no one wants no deal, then who will finally have the courage to say what the only positive solution is?— Donald Tusk (@eucopresident) January 15, 2019

Well Mr. Tusk you’re in luck because I am here specifically to help you answer this question with a very cheap/cheerful answer so hope you’re listening;

How about supporting true Democracy for a change Mr. Tusk like the one suggested here about the People’s Vote. It is truly unfortunate that the EU continued with the negotiations without hinting any  support for a public vote on the final agreement – rather they seemed also keen to help Theresa May shove the agreement down the throat of the British people. That certainly raises questions about the EU’s commitment to the values of Democracy/Liberalism they like to preach about. I also mentioned in quite a few posts that BREXIT will not be resolved without the People’s Vote even if we reach the end line of the exit gate and only will end up being a long term headache for the EU. So the suggestion from this end is to have an aspirin or 2 for now Mr Tusk but keep a sufficient stock close by.

Hope this helps, Mr. Tusk!
