While there is absolutely no doubt about the contributions of the armed forces particularly in their efforts at home/abroad in responding to the pandemic and keeping us secure, I find it peculiar for the Prince of Wales to dedicate 2 speeches in paying tribute to the armed forces rather than using the most recent televised opportunity to pay tribute to all who have contributed to fighting against the pandemic particularly health care workers and many others who equally deserve credit/recognition for their efforts in fighting the pandemic. The simple goto approach singling out the military – needs to change and be more inclusive where it is appropriate and makes sense.
