Another appalling incident by a lone coward – who thankfully now bites the dust – taking the life of a young man and graduate of Cambridge University who had his whole life in front of him. I understand that Jack Merritt was a course coordinator for Learning Together, a prisoners’ rehabilitation programme which was hosting the conference at Fishmongers’ Hall, at the north end of London Bridge. Here again I express my anger/outrage at these terror incidents – and will continue to do so – because we should never allow them to make us feel numb or powerless in confronting them. Rather these incidents can do nothing but strengthen our determination to rid our society from these roaches perpetrating these heinous crimes of humanity.

May I also use this opportunity to send my deepest personal condolences to the family/friends of the victims of this attack – I am certain I speak for many when I say that our hearts & minds are with you in these tragic times; may they RIP and may their memories live on in your hearts/give you strength for a long time to come.
