I would like to dedicate my work on this piece to the memory of James Last in this 4th anniversary of his death in 2015 as well as his incredible orchestra; here is the original video clip of this concert. My effort can certainly never match the talents in the orchestra but it is an effort nonetheless. James Last had almost everything to do with my love of music and in particular the trumpet and brass in general. He also gently introduced me to great classical works and I slowly became a big fan of classical music. May he RIP and wishing all the very best to members of his great orchestra which I hope would one day be reincarnated – because in my judgement his musical approach is a unique concept in musical arrangement that should “Last”.
