The question now would be whether that counts as indication of how this term has come to represent a political pressure point to be used conveniently by Israel rather than the intended cause – precious cause – of defending all forms of religious hate/bigotry and human atrocities committed around the world (and not just in Palestine)? That’s a judgement for you to make not just from this situation but the track record involved (you need to look these up yourself) suggests a pattern;

  • Israel’s changing position from non-support to support of Austria’s Freedom Party (FPÖ) a party founded by former Nazi’s
  • Israeli changing stance on Viktor Orbán highly controversial national billboard campaign targeting Jewish billionaire and philanthropist George Soros, which utilized classic antisemitic tropes regarding shadowy puppet-masters steering global events
  • Israeli changing stance on The Alliance for the Unity of Romanians (AUR) that had previously minimized the Holocaust in Romania and glorified Ion Antonescu, the country’s World War II dictator who collaborated with the Nazis in murdering hundreds of thousands of Jews
  • Israeli changing stance the Spanish Vox alt-right party
  • In 2019, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Netanyahu’s office published an official government report detailing that the far-right posed the most significant physical threat to European Jews. In his accompanying public address, however, Netanyahu heavily downplayed the far-right threat, explicitly focusing his condemnation on left-wing anti-Zionism and Muslim immigration.

We need to be more open about looking into claims/counter claims and even exploring patterns for ourselves cause titles/punchlines can hardly be sufficient in telling the whole story (though knowing the whole story is not necessary, just knowing relevant bits that provide the gist of the argument without needing to go into the nitty-gritty details).
