As disgusting and shameful are scenes of rampage during demonstrations throughout France in the last few days there needs to be a clear distinction between those demonstrating peacefully and the gangs that infiltrated these demonstrations (which seem quite deliberate/organized). So politicians need to be careful about painting all with the same brush. Heavy handed policing is not the answer but undercover law enforcement is part of the solutions to ensure force of the law targets perpetrators rather than merely provoking peaceful demonstrators.
