GAZA – A Conflict of Fiction & Realties
What we see here in my opinion is by no means a unique case of journalistic bias but a constant/consistent pattern in the media. I do not have a problem with left or right leaning coverage of events and politics in general; this is part and parcel of democratic […]

U.S. College Protests; Fareed Zakaria Gets Too Clever!
Fareed, I normally agree with most of your views. Here, however, you’re completely off the mark mate. This is much more than a mere social issue; it’s a valid, relevant and critical issue that’s being ignored and undermined by political wrangling that is costing real lives day-in-day-out. To frame it […]

Read More No “Far Right”, No “Far Left”; Free Speech is Fundamental
Despite my firm opposition to extremist ideologies of the far right and everything they represent, I equally oppose any effort to suppress their right to express their views freely. State of the “Union” Concept: Hey, what’s happening?
It’s becoming clear to me (sadly) that the EU as a promising concept as it was, founded mainly on values is being transformed into a convenient transactional business arrangement. To be member of the club you may need to from time to time and when pushed hard show your “values” […]

A whisper, then a conversation then a determined call. For me it’s kind of a human story that effortlessly touches the soul but to really get it you have to close your eyes and really listen. Read More The UK Post Office Scandal: The Price of Corporate Greed & Corruption
A truly disgraceful example of miscarriage of justice. The focus now in my opinion should be on 2 quite specific things; 1. Ensuring accountability is not brushed away with compensations to all victims who suffered heavy penalties for crimes they never committed due to corporate greed/corruption of the first order. […]

“Sensibly” Talking BREXIT After the Fact!?
Great stuff; talking sensibly about BREXIT after the fact! I guess the question of timing would be the first thing that comes to mind. But beyond this small technical issue the one thing we truly need is an honest conversation about the pro’s/con’s of BREXIT not just economically on but […]

French Pres. Macron said this week that the war in Ukraine is “existential” for France and Europe. The West can only gain the upper hand if it truly believes this—and acts on that belief.
