Here is another question; are they discussing symptoms or the underlying disease? Remember symptoms are likely to vary and develop in different directions and if you focus primarily on them you might as well give up predictions and deal with them as they come if you believe this is sustainable. Dealing with the disease on the other hand eliminates the problem altogether. In other words you need to discuss both issues with the main thrust of the discussion being the real problem driving migration otherwise you lose context and people continue to scapegoat migrants (the weakest link in this challenge) rather than poor policy by politicians on these shores (European shores) who continue to make matters worse for everybody (Home and Away), and better yet – the icing on the cake so to speak – get lucrative salaries out of it. So truly quite a disappointing discussion thats more about personal ego in showing how clever they are yet missing the cardinal point in the discussion even on a purely (by the way) basis; I kept expecting/waiting and it never came…..That old saying which I always repeat is being played out frequently/in real time nowadays and yet again people continue to ignore it rather than cherish to avoid mistakes being repeated (what goes around comes around). The problem is that the people paying the price for these mistakes are the ones who can’t afford them and the people making the mistakes most certainly can and in many cases benefit financially from committing them, now ain’t that sweet.
