Danish government runs off to celebrate a deal where both sides frame in quite different terms (just for starters). Any negotiations that touch on matters of sovereignty should NOT be had in the first place and if it was indeed a matter of NATO interests being discussed NATO members should have had an opportunity to sign off and be part of the negotiations early on, but that was not the context as it seems here; the context here was simply US pressure on an ally and other allies standing waiting in the wings and hoping for the best, the US statement makes that point abundantly clear (gives US permanent control over security, and all other needs). Wow, what a union…..well done!
Just a thought….
