A brilliant analysis (highly recommended) that begins to scratch the surface in explaining the U.S Presidential election results from a historical context as well as understanding the challenge in dealing with what I’d call “Realities of Disinformation” that have the capacity to uproot well established democratic governance models from the core. Historian/political analyst Heather Cox Richardson has been able to dissect the cause of the current wave of authoritarianism sweeping across America in a simple yet convincing manner with a few important lessons we need to think about if democratic/liberal governance models are survive/evolve and reverse this downward spiral.
