The spectators with little credibility do all to find a workaround to a problem they’ve helped create rather than have the courage to take steps towards the only viable solution they’ve been preaching for decades. It’s the same dismal approach they’ve applied in Ukraine though in that case there is no threat of direct involvement of western “powers” due to the power of the adversary and despite the conflict being at the door steps of Europe. It’s the kind of “courage” we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan; so when the chips are down it’s the “gold rush OUT” with tales between the legs. Clever workarounds really do work don’t they? It seems the west’s obsession with clever workarounds post WWII have really been an inspiration in promoting stability & prosperity the world over, so the advice from this end is quite simple; please STOP being clever because with the excitement it brings we’re liable to have a heart attack – the strong beam of your values continues to burn many souls around the world. Go for the conventional/obvious and well thought out actions once in a while to mix it up a bit; or to put it another way STOP ignorant/dubious interference because it eventually ends up in your own backyard. Forget about all and just consider 1 point; where does such dismal performance/lack of credibility lead. Here’s a teaser; conflicts out of control and a new geopolitical map is drawn with different key players replacing the old guard with different set of values and a different deck of cards; one that includes more jokers in the set. Unfortunately this also means further instability and the threat of the increase of non-state actors that don’t follow rules of engagement and have no claim to a base but operate in a guerrilla warfare manner. All I can say is that I hope I am totally off the mark but that’s the trend I’m seeing.

Just a thought!
