- It is unrealistic to consider actions against the US without this being at the detriment of the NATO alliance. (So does this essentially mean that the U.S. contribution to the NATO alliance become a deterrent for NATO members to stay inline (is that to use your words more “realistic”) and if so please put that in writing and keep members of your (nationalist) party and your country as a whole clear about who’s really running the show (as the situation reveals itself as only a show).
- Meloni believes that this aggressive approach by the trump administration should not be taken at face value but rather an indication of strategic importance of the region being infiltrated by other foreign adversaries. (OK, well done but 2 points a) is this your best bet or based on reliable sources from within the U.S administration (or some other form of administration) and if the second what are they/shouldn’t you share with your people and your allies and b) what kind of sources can actually contradict the flurry of peaceful / inspiring U.S. rapprochement not only in relation to Greenland but actions in Venezuela and financial deals – or pressure points – in Ukraine; Ukraine Awards Major Lithium Project to Investors With Links to Trump So what precisely are you talking about?)
Also please remember PM Meloni its not what you write or say in support for Greenland that counts – as you mention in the clip – but what you actually do; did I actually have to say that to a seasoned politician like yourself? So some advice from a political layman like myself – and you probably don’t need it but just the same – is this; don’t overcomplicate a simple situation in the hope of getting away with a weak argument because being too clever can and often “does” trip you up. Good luck.
Just one final thought if I may – and thanks for sticking around….that is if you’re actually still around; its shocking for me – even as a non-native European – to watch WWII history repeating itself but by different actors in the hope of resurrecting the past with expectation of addressing challenges of the future; does that really make sense??
