Being incompetent is one thing that very few on this earth can disagree with when it comes to Pete Hegseth (unless of course they don’t belong on this planet) however 2 simple facts seem to be missing from this current flurry when it comes the efforts to impeach him;
- He was not chosen to take on his current role on the basis of competence but as many other of his colleagues – including his mafioso in chief – on the basis of loyalty to the chief who’s equally incompetent but at least was elected by Americans.
- For the political establishment to call for Hegseth to carry the “can” for the US involvement in the unprovoked war against Iran and providing false expectations on the feasibility of the strategy is truly disgustingly disingenuous considering point 1 above but more importantly is yet another effort to shield trump and his key “influencer” netanyahu as the main “can” carriers for this disaster. So if Americans want to play fair and square on this matter it would be trump himself that deserves to be impeached – or to be consistent “canned” – and no one else.
