Legally speaking ignoring genocide is complicity in genocide however long it takes for accountability to kick in. Pragmatically speaking you may not experience these atrocities but there are clear signs of blowback from these conflicts at multiple levels; economically (obviously), politically in terms of foreign meddling/pressure points, civil liberties as well as migration flows (not ones for prosperity but for people fleeing to save their lives based on western meddling/putting thumbs on the scale in their own region; in other words its forced not voluntary migration ). Humanitarianly speaking its much more simple than the above jargon; its purely empathy/common humanity and doing whats right in your own simple way. Remember none of the facts in this, previous or future reports is in any way disputable (the jury is no longer out here) and watching further evidence or clips or waiting/expecting more reports is not sloppy but an act of deliberately running out the clock on human lives – as was/is intended. But then again there is no statutes of limitation on genocide and perhaps thats part of a calculation of western leaders in cozying up to autocratic leaders to help shackle a region into submission, but that too is a big question of time where storms flow in unforeseen ways/directions.
