It’s more of an approach/philosophy of life not based on theory but rather on where we are in this day-and-age and how we’re all becoming more obsessed with consuming goods and associating that with quality of life. This also made us more vulnerable as a society to the whims of big business that’s not only doing business, but taking over the media and our political landscape not indirectly behind closed doors but in the light of day. We then assume we’re helpless in facing these uncontrollable powers we face but the fact of the matter is we’re not actually using our power/leverage. Imagine for example a day or 2 of declined profit for a large multinational business due to boycotting their products / services and how that translates to dollar signs. So yes indeed we do have leverage but we need to be able to use it consistently in a coordinated way preferably but not necessarily because even as individuals its a matter of living by our own values and adapting our lives in that manner – kinda living with the “off grid” mentality and being creative in adapting to this new lifestyle while supporting -where we can – causes that are in-line with our belief system. I admit this is not a new approach, but here I’m only suggesting to take it a step further and be more deliberate/consistent about it; in a nutshell its all about being the exact opposite of Youtube influencers do and that’s not intended to be disrespectful to them, particularly ones who provide genuine/honest reviews. This is one approach I began to follow – though by no means to an acceptable level yet – and hope that in the not too distant future we can find discussion forums on how to develop/promote this approach particularly – but not only – in the west; a more human centric value-based lifestyle/a less animated automated lifestyle that turns us into a herd that follows whichever direction demanded of us.
Finally using the term “Operation” as header maybe an exaggeration at this stage, so one may call it an initial “skirmish” in the hope that the full operation would follow in the not too distant future.
Hope that makes some sense.
