Quite an interesting interview, just wish that new NATO posture was followed a few years ago even before the Ukraine conflict began, maybe we wouldn’t have been in this mess. The real (abc) questions though are;
- a) what is NATO (-) the US of A, and where is the European defense force that European leaders keep talking about or are these merely talking points for public consumption when it is a pretty consequential element
- b) where is European unity on the Ukraine conflict (another consequential element) or will it be NATO’s version of the coalition of the willing which is another kinda mess. Europe needs to grow up!
- c) where does defensive posture end and offensive tactics begin because as I understand it – though far from being a military expert myself – defensive posture may often involve offensive measures, right?
