A stunning finale based on a repetition of a very simple tune that continues to evolve through simple theme variations as well as the different/wonderful interpretations and support roles by the different instruments. For me personally this particular movement reflects the celebration of life as opposed to the mourning/sadness of death; what a sendoff it would be to have it played for the “Kaiser”! Anyway just sharing a brilliant piece of work along an equally brilliant/capable conductor that guides not only the orchestra but also the audience on how to follow the intricacies of the composition.
