Critical thinking begins by questioning/challenging what we consider to be the “conventional wisdom” – conventions by design so to speak. This is one interesting conversation and it may help explain the idea of subordination of what is termed as the global south where economic powers benefiting from this rigged capitalist system help investing/promoting corruption/conflict that essentially prevents states affected from moving beyond their designated role as a resource pool (or a financial pool in case of wealthy states) and little else thus ensuring this status quo preserved/well protected. In other words there is a commonality in designated roles between these states and the labor force in the west; they’re there to supercharge this rigged system and precious little else. Of course there may be nuances to this concept but I believe we’re in the ballpark.
Just a thought.
