I truly do not understand how people like HK can be celebrated. Facts do not lie and cannot be deemed controversial. What is controversial – as a term always associated with this figure – is his history as presented in this “brief” report. One question remains; how is he able to sustain such influence to date, someone in my opinion with suspect allegiances, autocratic tendencies and one to whom human life/dignity means very little? I guess a big part of our problem is that our moral compass is being systematically drained and now needs a full reset so that at the very least we can finally reach a point where we clearly see the difference between truth & fiction; that would be a good starting point.
