As an old timer I cannot think of a better way to spend the New Year except with music from my all time favourite Orchestra – James Last; I am an old timer you understand 🙂 Hope you take the time to view the clip and that you enjoy it whether you’re also an old timer or a new timer; it’s got jazz, classical and easy listening and was recorded in Berlin in the summer of 1987.
It is also in memory of a great musician and hoping that his orchestra is resurrected to its former glory in the near future – there are after all plenty of fans out there and it’s style was quite unique.
PS: Also committing this year to post some of my own trumpet playing on this site – as an amateur, just for laughs 🙂
