I read many posts on social media about racism directed towards specific groups, be it cultural, religious or other groups and/or minorities. Of course this is important to know in order to defend these groups. But it would be super helpful for individuals/groups making these posts to add a single statement at the end of these posts to the effect:
“Racism in all its forms and against anyone or group of people irrespective of ethnicity, religion or race is totally unacceptable and we stand firmly against it.”
A simple message indicating a true/unequivocal and consistence stance on racism as a threat to basic human rights/values; so not a controversial statement but one projecting a fundamental principal. I would also recommend this statement to be used by governments around the world as a motto for their stance/actions when combating racism.
