Working & Coordinating with Allies; Well that’s odd; all I heard from “allies” so far is is a deafening “shhh”! Well, to be honest though when rules are broken by those who are supposed to be the rule makers/protectors then what we see today (if true)/and have been seeing for some time now by other so-called leaders is to be expected – no rocket science there. Another element is the transactional nature for foreign policy also referred to sometimes as National Security as a silly diversion to what’s actually happening. What is actually happening is that the world seems to be changing rapidly and no one is really focused but on the short term gains rather than long term/consistent, value-driven strategic objectives. It is the goto model for weak leadership and unfortunately this is the real curse we suffer from in this day-and-age.
