The Music Hour: A “Soulo” Piano Concerto

One of my favourite Beethoven piano concert’s here performed by the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Mikko Franck, and German pianist Alice Sara Ott.

The concerto was composed in 1800 and was first performed on 5 April 1803, with the composer as soloist. The piece was also published in 1804. The composition was dedicated to Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia. The first primary theme is reminiscent of that of Mozart’s 24th Piano Concerto. (source; wikipedia)

Pleasant Dreams 🙂
