The Music Hour: Recuerdos de la Alhambra

Once in a while I like to share some of my favourite music I come across on the web. This is one performance I came across lately of a very popular composition by the Spanish composer Francisco Tarrega called “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” – translated to “Memories of Alhambra”. Alhambra (Qalat Al-Ḥamrā in Arabic)  to mean “The Red Palace” which is a palace/fortress complex in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. The guitar performance is by the very talented guitarist Ana Vidovic. I hope you have a chance to read about both the composer and performer. As for the music, well as a wise man once said “good music needs no introduction”, so hope you enjoy!
