In memory of a true master of film scores James Horner who died June 2015 in a plane crash in California. His compositions are unique and so is his use of unusual instruments that he is able to mould into divine musical textures. As with many great composers his memory lives on through his great music. This piece is one of my favorites, the kind of music that has a direct pass to one’s soul.
