MPs are now debating a motion to call for government to publish its Brexit plan. So what happens next, well probably another motion to debate discussing terms of the plan and possibly another to make alternations to those terms. The question is this; why is it so difficult to try and simplify by having 1 motion that calls for a clear end-to-end process that provides the required level of transparency and oversight? There is no question that these are serious matters, but then again that’s exactly the point. I fear that the government is way behind the curve in responding to serious concerns over the BREXIT process and this in itself will complicate its work further.
